Confab on urban governance holds in Lagos 
THE Foundation for Development and Environmental Initiatives (FEI) will hold its 4th conference on Emerging Urban Africa with theme “Good Urban Governance for Effective Service Delivery in Nigeria.”
The two-day conference, which will hold on October 11 and 12, 2012, takes place at the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Sub themes of the conference include: assessment of current situations of urban planning; the institutional and legal framework for good urban governance; among others. Also expected to attend the conference are governors, ministers, legislators, chairmen of local councils, representatives of the Presidency, Federal Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development, National Planning Commission, Ministry of Women Affairs, professional bodies, among others.
Renowned experts will present papers on relevant topics at the conference.
